From The Secret Museum by The Museum of Homelessness, to the Second World War and Holocaust Galleries at Imperial War Museum London, UK museums, galleries and heritage sites were recognised for their efforts in categories including community engagement, conservation, digital innovation, fundraising, and temporary or touring exhibitions.

The Awards also included two international categories. Casa Batlló took home an award for its Immersive Experience, winning International Exhibition of the Year and DMW Creative, on behalf of The Irish National Stud Company secured the International Digital Award for the Irish Racehorse Experience.

The awards, sponsored by Chargeurs Museums Studio, celebrate innovative and ground-breaking initiatives from museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions across the UK and overseas. The 2022 event marked the 20th anniversary of the industry-leading Awards.

A judges-nominated Special Recognition Award was this year presented to the National Trust.

We were delighted that our Buy a Bag campaign won 'Fundraisers of the Year'! To receive this award against such fantastic competition is wonderful.

We made all these new friends and supporters through the campaign and we hope you will join us every step of the way as we create a new Fashion Museum and Collection Study Centre.

Thank you for all your help sharing the campaign and for your donations. You made this award possible.
