The Fashion Museum Collection

Fashion Museum Bath holds one of the world’s leading collections of fashion, spanning 400 years of human creativity from 1600 to today.

The original collection was formed by writer and dress historian Doris Langley Moore and gifted to the city of Bath in 1959. Now numbering 100,000 items, the Designated collection includes a huge range of fashion from haute couture to sportswear, alongside accessories, sketches, magazines, photographs and designers' archives.
