Venue hire

The magnificent Assembly Rooms are available for private hire and offer delightful settings for weddings, receptions, dinners and conferences.

We have implemented a number of changes to maintain the safety of our guests and staff.

  • Enhanced cleaning regime before, during and after events with sanitiser stations available for everyone.
  • Physical measures to ensure 2m physical distancing (or 1m+ where this is not possible) with particular attention to identified pinch points such as toilets.
  • Staff issued with appropriate PPE and trained to be vigilant in maintaining necessary physical distancing.
  • Other measures such as increased ventilation, staff checks and encouraging contactless payments.

As options for events become clearer, we will keep you informed on the Bath’s Historic Venues website and social media channels.  Please do stay in touch by following us on FacebookInstagram and LinkedIn.

Assembly Rooms

The Assembly Rooms were built for entertainment and socialising and are just as well suited to this purpose as they ever were. Entering through the red-carpeted foyer, guests reach a suite of interconnected rooms that are ideal for entertaining large numbers of people at concerts, exhibitions, conferences, dinners or weddings. For full details of venue hire in Bath's historic buildings, visit the Bath's Historic Venues website.

Fashion Museum

Available for private hire when the museum is closed, the Fashion Museum makes a stimulating venue for a pre-dinner drinks reception of up to a hundred people, allowing visitors to reflect on bygone eras in fascinating surroundings.
