Children taking part in a craft activity

Family activities

Kids of all ages can find out about contemporary and historic fashion. Take a look below at what we have to offer and enjoy a fun day out.

Family activities

Join in our creative activities which take place in the school holidays, and are free once on site. These are craft based, and all materials are provided. Visit our What's on page to find out more. Download a Heritage Events leaflet for September-December 2017.

Dressing up

At the heart of the Fashion Museum you can find out what it’s like to wear ‘make-believe’ Georgian and Victorian fashions. There are replica historical dresses, coats, hats and bonnets for adults and children to try on. You can take your photograph in the dress up fashions from the past against a backdrop image of Bath’s Royal Crescent.
