Trying on a replica corset
One of the displays at the Fashion Museum includes a selection of
underwear from historic and more modern times, including two
original corsets and some more recent examples of underwear, by
Marks and Spencer.
There is also dressing up area with replica corsets and crinolines
for adults and children to try on. This is the way to explore
how corsets and crinolines work, how they lace up, how they feel to
wear and how they alter the way you stand and move.
