Fashion Museum – Accessibility

The building is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access to the ground floor Assembly Rooms and a specially adapted toilet for disabled visitors. A wheelchair is available for use.

 

There is a lift from the ground floor to the Fashion Museum on the lower ground floor. In addition, there is a ramp to the Fashion Museum and an emergency exit ramp. There is also a specially adapted toilet on the ground floor for disabled visitors in the Fashion Museum.

The nearest disabled car parking spaces to the Assembly Rooms are :
1 either side of Bennett St where it joins Lansdown Rd (approx 100/150m away)
1 on Alfred St opposite the Assembly Rooms Pub (approx 80m)

A "T" switch attachment for the audio guide is available to visitors with hearing difficulties. Alternatively, we can provide a copy of the audio tour text (with reading torch) to read during your visit.
