Fashion Museum – Library

The Fashion Museum's library contains the following material:

Books and publications on the history of dress and fashion accessories from the medieval period to the present day
Journals and periodicals such as Costume, Dress and Textile History
Fashion magazines from the early 19th century to the present day
Fashion plates
Shop catalogues
The Family Photograph Collection
The Sunday Times Archive of fashion photographs
Knitting and embroidery patterns
Archives of fashion houses such as Worth and Paquin

 

We welcome groups (maximum 8 people) as well as individuals, and can tailor-make sessions to suit individual interests.

 

The Library is open by appointment on Thursdays and Fridays between 11.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00. You can make an appointment by letter, telephone, fax or e-mail
